In Nepal, the very high altitude of the himalayan mountains impose a slow rythm to let the body getting acclimatize.
This time is used to rest, to read books, to discover the permanent good mood of the locals, to enjoy a freshly cooked dal-bhat or momos and to listen to the wind dispersing in the air the prayers from the colorful flags.
Whatever the final goal (high summits, trekking with crossing passes, mountain lakes, mythical base camps, trekking peaks, expedition...), time is nearly at a standstill and everybody takes this opportunity to get back to himself.
