The american dream is not an excessive term for climbers!
The West is full of national parks that we've all heard about for the beauty of their landscapes. There are some gems of worldclass climbing.
It's all about mythical routes that would mark the life of a climber : Devils Tower, El Capitan, Half Dome...
Most of the time, we do "trad" clilmbing : we use cams to protect the climbs.
We climb among others Big Walls : very high walls where we spend many days and nights hanging, doing sometimes "aid climbing" when it is to hard to climb it "free".
These walls are like a journey inside the trip.
But the US are also known for the perfect straight cracks where jamming is the way to go.
Crack climbing is like a new sport for climbers and a challenge for the europeans.
