This team of 7 very motivated girls from Iran came to Chamonix to spent 10 days rock climbing, ice climbing and mountaineering.
I was with them on their last day before leaving Chamonix, and as the weather was not so good, we went to the Mer de Glace using the Montenvers train.
5 of them were with me on that day, and after down climbing the ladders, we hiked up til the canyon on the glacier, where we climbed speep slopes of icy terrain.
They practiced climbing with one or two ice axes, down climbing, and some of them even led ice pitches.
It was not easy as we were totally wet from the rain, and the wind was very strong on that day. So congratulations for your beautiful energy and motivation!
