The weather was absolutely perfect on wednesday, and so were the snow conditions. Everything was perfect.
That's probably why, after a first skiing up the Col des Crochues, Andy decided to break a binding in order to have the opportunity to go down and up once more !!!
Therefore I gave him one of my skis that he used as a telemark, and I went down on one single ski, you should have seen us !!!
After changing his skis, we went back up for a second ascent of the same pass and, lucky us, we were almost alone in the mountain for this second try.
Then it became quite normal : skiing down, skinning again, traversing to Col deBérard, skiing in perfect powder snow...
But when it came about taking the train back to Flégère, the day was not finished as the train workers were surprisingly on strike and I had to hitchike back to get the car and grab Andy...
